This will be a very interactive session with lots of audience participation, with videos and demonstrations rather than formal presentations. The thematic focus of the session is emerging technologies that build capacity and can transform jobs. Generative AI has changed the world and puts enormously powerful AI capability in the hands of the Information and Knowledge Society.

Questions will be posed to audience on their use of the technologies in question, asking about their experience with it and doing a live demonstration of ChatGPT.
Is Generative AI (Gen AI) just a tool? A video showing the power of Gen AI will be shown. What about creativity – is this still a uniquely human trait or can Gen AI make us more creative.
What about using Generative AI in Education? Using metrics to ensure outcomes. Good advice and pitfalls. Explore audience experience in this context.
What is Microsoft’s approach to Generative AI. What other tools are available.
What is the upside of using Generative AI? How will the Generative AI wave disrupt the future of work including knowledge and creative workers? What type of jobs are at risk and how can we mitigate the impact?
The Ethics and multi-faceted implications of Generative AI . What are the ethical repercussions of using proprietary and copyrighted materials for training Generative AI?
